Mission

Our mission is dedicated to reshaping and revitalizing the local food industry through sustainable practices, education, and community engagement. As a non-profit entity, we oversee the pioneering Northwest Jersey Processing Facility (NWJP), a beacon of innovation in sustainable meat processing and agricultural education.

Our Board of Trustees is composed of distinguished individuals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise across various fields. With backgrounds spanning agriculture, environmental sustainability, business development, and education, each member contributes a unique perspective towards achieving our mission. Their collective vision and commitment are instrumental in guiding the non-profit towards impactful contributions to local and broader communities.

In partnership with Warren County Community College, we are at the forefront of developing comprehensive educational programs that include abattoir training, integration of culinary programs, and the exploration of food innovation and new product development. These initiatives are designed not only to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals interested in the food industry but also to foster innovation and sustainability within the sector.

Our collaboration with the college and local stakeholders underscores our commitment to creating a sustainable ecosystem that benefits farmers, consumers, and the environment. By focusing on clean, ethical, and locally sourced food production, we aim to establish a model that promotes health, sustainability, and economic growth within the community and beyond.

Through the NWJP facility and our educational initiatives, we are setting a new standard for food processing and agricultural education. Our goal is to inspire positive change that ensures the well-being of future generations and paves the way for a more sustainable and resilient food system.
